Sediment Quality Assessment Survey of San Antonio Bay

Sediment surveys are a common tool for ecosystem assessments to indicate bay health. A sediment quality survey will determine if pollution is a factor in the ecological status of San Antonio Bay. Contaminants would indicate chemical dose, toxicity tests would indicate biological response, and benthic diversity would indicate ecological response. During the project, at least 18 stations would be sampled over the entire system.
