Meghan Kennedy

Meghan is currently a law student at Vermont Law School earning her JD degree. Prior to law school, she was selected as the only student for Vermont Law School's New Frontier's in Environmental Law and Policy program in the Summer of 2022. While there, she took an ocean and coastal law class to prepare and advance her credits towards her JD degree. At HRI, Meghan is conducting her individual research project on offshore wind energy development in the Gulf of Mexico, while assisting Kristina Alexander in her own research.

After her summer at HRI, Meghan will return back to Vermont to finish her last two years of law school, while expanding her knowledge on marine law and policy.
