Cali Falkenstein is a research assistant working with the HRI Coral Reef and Ocean Health Lab (CROH). She recieved her B.Sc. in Marine Biology at the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa. In 2024, she recieved the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program grant to complete her undergraduate research by quantifying coral color based on bleaching tolerance treatments. She specializes in both treatment experiments for coral reef species as well has elasmobranch behavorial research.
Cali will continue to expand her scientific experience at HRI in order to learn more effective ways to help our threatened marine environments. She hopes to attend TAMU-CC's graduate school in the future as well.
