Charan Adipudi

Charan Adipudi '25 is a Research Specialist I at the Harte Research Institute (HRI) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from TAMU-CC and began his professional career as a Systems Engineer at Infosys, where he developed RESTful APIs and supported enterprise applications in production environments. His background in software engineering and data systems has shaped his interest in building scalable and reliable applications.

At HRI, Charan works closely with principal investigators to support research and data-driven projects. His role includes developing Python-based tools to harvest and process research data, assisting with metadata development following NOAA guidelines, maintaining server-based applications, and supporting web platforms that provide access to scientific and environmental data. He enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building tools that make research data more accessible and useful.

Charan was drawn to HRI because it allows him to apply his technical skills to projects that contribute to environmental and coastal research. Outside of work, you will often find him playing cricket or watching movies.

Looking ahead, he hopes to continue developing innovative technology solutions that support impactful research and real-world applications.
