Donna Scott
Donna has over 25 years of fund development experience, most of which is in higher education. Her work, at the intersection of donor philanthropy and advancing organization mission, has resulted in securing over $90 million toward bricks-and-mortar projects, program, faculty and scholarship endowment and general operations.
In her role with HRI, Donna works with constituents as they seek to contribute to the conservation of the Gulf of Mexico through volunteer engagement, grants and gifts. Donna grew up in New Orleans and spent time on the coast in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. She currently resides in the Texas Coastal Bend town of Rockport and finds encouraging charitable giving to HRI for the sustainability of the Gulf a natural fit.
Donna loves cycling, walking or running on the edge of Aransas Bay, beachcombing at San Jose Island and hanging with her dog, Kevin.
