Mary Kramer is a Database Coordinator in the Community Resilience group. Her work focuses on assigning monetary values to ecosystem services through work on the BlueValue database & tool. Previously, she has conducted research pertaining to socioeconomic and agricultural interactions with water quality along the Texas Gulf Coast (project).

Mary received a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management with a minor in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University in 2021 as well as a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2023. In addition to water quality, Mary’s research interests include economic development programs for small rural underserved communities in and around the Texas Coastal Bend and the role local landowner management strategies play in overall ecosystem health.
