The presentation is divided into two parts. The first part will introduce the Sakura Science Exchange Program and highlight how it provides young scientists with the opportunity to develop skills and build connections in Japan. The second part will provide an overview of Marino's participation in the Sakura Science Exchange Program in Japan, which took place from January 19th to February 9th, 2025. The presentation will particularly focus on presenting over 30 projects that explore potential collaborations between Japan, Latin America, and the USA concerning marine and coastal issues.
